Lord Tennyson's immortal line is perhaps the most succinct expression of the dauntless spirit with which Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya has been continuing its journey ever since its inception in the summer of 1947, the annus mirabilis of Indian history. In its illustrious existence of 68 years, Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya has been braving odds with unrelenting determination, buoyed up by the unwavering focus on its prime objective of imparting true enlightenment to young minds. The institution has been serving the highly significant role of providing quality higher education to the largely middle and lower-middle class population of the town of Bongaon and its rural vicinity.
