About the Department

In 2004-05 academic session, our college got the affiliation for Geography as a Pass subject for BA /B.Sc. students from Calcutta University. After that in 2006 Geography honours course was initiated. From 2008, our college is running under West Bengal State University, Barasat . Over 9 years, this department has been playing an important role for the betterment of its students. Many eminent teachers in the field of Geography have delivered valuable lectures and enriched our students from time to time. Several students of this department have completed their higher education.
